Testing for Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs): When and How - Webinar

While testing for direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) is not warranted, incident serious adverse events may benefit from quantitative measurement of the DOAC level. Moreover, in frail patients, DOAC prescription and use may be individually tailored  by limited laboratory monitoring. The presentation will discuss types of assays and potential indications for laboratory monitoring, based on our clinical experience with different DOACs.
